The reasons why many people decide to become a work at home dad is the idea of becoming free. When you work from home, you give yourself freedom from routines and bosses at your back. You do not need to comply with dress codes, stuck in traffic jams, waste time in commuting or be a slave of your boss. Technically you still have a boss, but without him/her at your back to watch you all the time makes your working environment less stress and comfortable.

The negative aspect of a working at home dad is the fact that you are isolated. You will not have any office mates to discuss ideas and plans. This will be challenging if you are not used to working alone and spending isolated times. It is most important that you can find ways in which you can evade distractions as this can impact your productivity and working hours. You will need to be well prepared and up to date skill sets  in order to work on top of the game.
